This is a bug in 0.11.0 and 0.11.1, if you dig straight down in a flat world, you don't die like normal, you just fall for a bit, and land on something. Basically, you can go under a flat world without dying. I didn't try this on a infinite or old world though, so I don't know if it happens on those as well or just a flat world. |

It is no longer possible to die in creative mode, so this works as intended. If you do find a way to die in creative, please report that as a new bug! Also, this is not a duplicate of mcpe-8522 anymore. That ticket addresses the bug where a player falls to the void in survival (which is only possible if you mine out bedrock in creative and change to survival) gets the wrong death message (fell from a high place) instead of (fell out of the world) |
