 Description   

Put the summary of the bug you're having here: I was mining under water for sand and was trapped in the underwater hole I dug, unable to swim up.
*What I expected to happen was...:*swim up to the surface
Describe what you thought should happen here
*What actually happened was...:*I was stuck in the pit and drowned

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Dig a 1x1x3 pit or deeper underwater
2. Try to go up
3. drown

It happens with a 1x1 waterfall with only the top being a source block of water. It happens on 4th gen iPod and iPhone. What else I don't know.

If you can't reproduce it, try swimming up when you are in a waterfall. You'll go up very slow. It's the same thing with this bug.

yeah. the strait down flowing water is way to strong. you move up the water at 2 pixels per second at fastest.

I've followed your steps exactly as described and can't reproduce this. Can you provide a screenshot or video of the setup?

I am not sure how you were able to get flowing water in a 1x1 underwater hole at all...
