This has been fixed, on the new version player names are limited to letters, numbers and underscore

I cannot even type a / in the username slot

I can't confirm because I only have 1 MCPE license (and thus can't test multiplayer bugs) but the screenshot makes this seem credible and we have previously identified unescaped character issues with the world name in Android.

Hi Mustafa, I cannot reproduce this issue on a Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.4.2 running MCPE 0.10.5. When I change the player name to "/Steve" and open a local world, I do not receive an error. Can you please provide more details of what you did to get this error message so I can reproduce the error in my game?
