 Description

The bract and flower layers of sunflower heads are displaced when at distances of over several thousand meters from the spawn point. Shown is the two fused layers z-fighting (z and x -500,000), as well as their awkwardly bent shape when viewed from the side.
Tested using the 'infinite' and 'flat' world types.

Edit:
Added updated information. It appears that the issue's first occurrence is much nearer to the spawn then I previously estimated. Flying directly outward on a positive z-axis in creative mode for 2 hours and 10 minutes, or approximately 80,000 meters, resulted in a slight displacement of the flower layer. Attached a screenshot of this, showing a sunflower in a superflat world.

This ticket has been resolved as 'Cannot Reproduce' as it has not been updated recently (1 year+)

Does this bug still appear in 0.12.3? If so please respond.

Confirmed for 0.11.0. Created a new superflat world in creative mode.

Thanks all. Please always note in your report if you used anything in addition to the vanilla, completely unmodified, MCPE or modified anything outside of the game environment. In some cases, even having disabled add-ons can cause problems. I will try again to reproduce these distance bugs, but so far on my completely unmodified MCPE without any add-ons installed on my system I cannot reproduce any of them.

Also there are many known glitches/bugs that correlates with distance; for example the "far lands" where moving is nearly impossible

There is another way of placing the player in different coordinates using a software that could open the levelDB files.

I am quite certain the issue is distance. Other bugs occuring closer to the spawn I have tested in seperate worlds using the 'infinite' world type. One of the worlds I originally tested containing thousands of previously generated chunks relatively near to the spawn point, but I only encountered the bugs after traveling several thousand meters away from the spawn. I also had no problems in reproducing them by creating a new world and immediately flying to these distances.
Additionally, I do test certain distance-related bugs on servers running the PocketMine server software prior to testing them in offline worlds, using the /tp command.

Hey Pat, you've reported several issues that occur at large distances from spawn. Do you do all these tests in the same world? If not, can you explain the steps you use to start a new world and get to these distances so we can try to reproduce these bugs.

So far, I can't reproduce any by starting a new infinite world and walking/flying straight in one direction for a few mcpe days before testing the bug. Perhaps the issue isn't the distance from spawn, but the number of chunks that have been generated in the world. In an old world" there would be many, but in a new world, even moving far from the spawn in just one direction, the total number of chunks that have generated could be much less.

Just my 2 cents.

Even know this is a bug, what is the chance a player will walk this far in a world?
