This bug makes every flower nonrenewable (limited resource within a limited space) with the exception of the ploppy and dandelion. [MCPE Mod] AMAN4700: You must bonemeal an existing flower for this to work. Update by nighter |

Confirmed on 0.15.1 B1 Applying bonemeal to any one-high flower will only grow poppies and dandelions. |

Confirmed for 0.15.0 on Windows 10. Right-clicking any one-block-tall flower (except dandelions) with bonemeal will cause several poppies to generate, and/or occasionally dandelions. Bonemealing dandelions causes predominantly dandelions to generate, with occasional poppies. But that's it. It's always poppies and dandelions that generate when you bonemeal one-tall plants. Bonemealing grass blocks, tall grass, double tall plants, and mushrooms all seem to work fine, though. |

This is potentially fixed. For example, in swamp biomes, bonemealing grass gives different flowers (predominately blue orchids). I've tried a few other biomes and most give some combination of dandelions, poppies, azure bluets and oxeye daisys. |

Confirmed on Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.4.2 running MCPE 0.10.5; however, the bug report needs revision to clarify if this is an iOS specific problem. Brian, please provide more details if you believe you observe different results on your iOS device. I tested the following under Android 4.4.2 in a creative flat world: Applying bonemeal to a grass block will yield some combination of small (1 block tall) grasses, small (1 block tall) ferns, poppies and/or dandelions on nearby/adjacent grass blocks. I would expect other types of vegetation to appear with some non-zero frequency that is dependent on the biome you are in. Applying bonemeal to poppy yields only more poppies, as expected. Applying bonemeal to any other 1 tall flower left that flower the same as it was and created some poppies and sometimes some dandelions too. This was not expected and is likely a bug. I expected the bonemeal to produce more of the same flower that was being bonemealed and maybe some 1 tall grasses and/or ferns. Applying bonemeal to any 2 tall vegetation does nothing. I expected the bonemeal to produce more of the same 2 tall vegetation that was being bonemealed and/or some of the 1 tall version of that vegetation if it exists (e.g. bonemealing 2 tall grass creates some new 1 tall grass around it) Applying bonemeal to any brown mushroom creates a brown mushroom tree (if there's enough space around it to do so) as expected. If there isn't enough space, then nothing happens. Perhaps some more small brown mushrooms should appear? Applying bonemeal to any red mushroom did nothing. I expected it to act the same as a brown mushroom. Related Bugs: |
