This happened on my Nexus 5 running Android 4.4.2. I created a new Creative world (seed: 1 402 345 840) and went flying around exploring for a couple of minutes. Then I saw black squares in the water like in the first image. The black squares did not go away after waiting some time. The second and third image show a transparent section of land I encountered. I was able to see caves below the terrain. Even though that part of the land was transparent, I did not fall through when I landed on it. Upon exiting the game and opening the same world again everything looked normal again. Forgot to mention: My view distance was set to 50% of the max. |
