Downloaded Minecraft PE from Google Play Store today. (31/03/2013) When I attempt to open Minecraft PE Version 0.8.1, the screen goes black and stays black. I've searched this website for instructions - there are multiple reported issues of the same problem, all of which give no information for the user, they just say 'issue resolved' or 'duplicate of issue number....'. There is no information about what I should do. |

Old version issue, please update Affected Versions if this error occurs again. |

Also, sean if you go to http://help.mojang.com you can get an email form to contact the company directly (http://help.mojang.com/customer/portal/emails/new). |

Sean, you can request a refund through most online app stores. For example, on the iTunes store you can report a problem on a purchase made in the past 90 days by clicking Report a Problem in your receipt email, see the example I put here: http://imgur.com/x9fRSfk.png |

Does this issue persist in the latest version of MCPE, 0.9.5? |

Is there a purpose to this site at all? Or do we just search for a way of fixing our shoddy software, find all the previous complaints of the same issue marked 'issue resolved' with no further information, and then just get ignored? Sorry to be old-fashioned, but I just spent money on a Mojang product, found that it doesn't work, and now find that there's no support, no contact form, no instructions about what to do and just a couple of links to forums 'staffed' by the general public. Is that supposed to be 'service'? From a company who have sold millions of copies of Minecraft, and have made multi-millions of dollars from doing so? Not even a contact address? Well done world for accepting this as normal. What a load of horse-shit. |
