It did happened in version 0.4.0 too so I checked in the recent update. Exploring a NEW WORLD without destroying anything will make it day forever in survival. I do it all the time when putting in random made-up seeds to check plants (especially mushrooms), animals, biome and terrains. Also, and I'm not sure if this is intentional, but when generating a seed in creative no mushrooms are visible. In survival they are. |

It looks like it works as it should. The day is longer in the newer versions but it does turn into night on iOS. Please try this for 0.5.1 when it's released. |

I explored a whole map before I broke a block. I mean up mountains and swam around probably 20 mins. |
