 Description

When an air block is near a naturally gen. stationary/not moving lava block it don't flows to the air block instead, it stays as if nothing happened.
To reproduce, find naturally generated lava(mostly found in deep caves),then make the block adjacent to it an air block this is either done by mining the block if it's soild or if it's lava/liquid block by the lava use a bucket.

Tested with build 13 again, created a new world in creative - diid work as intended.

Going far far away from my Island, dug down in the next island on the world initiated earlier... bug did stay.

So either i've visited that part previously (which i doubt), or the error will prolong even to newly generated chunks

Fixed as build 11

Please create a new world to test this issue, Christian.

Lava dug free, but doesnt flow

Comment by Christian [ 24/May/15 ]

I can still reproduce this in build 13.

The world has been generated in pre build 13 though, not sure when exactly.

Fixed as 0.11.0 build 8

do you even tick bro

Alex, typically liquids update when interacted with by the player (e.g., removing or placing a block next to them), which is true in the case of stationary water at these levels and of stationary lava at a higher point on the y-axis.

exactly. the flowing lava updates the stationary lava

Comment by Insane96MCP [ 19/Apr/15 ]

Nope, the lava is not updated until it comes in contact with flowing lava, is not intended

Affects 0.11 beta 5

Comment by AMAN4700 [ 18/Apr/15 ]

I think this works the same way that sand and gravel works. It doesn't update unless you put a block next it. it might be intended

Comment by Insane96MCP [ 12/Apr/15 ]

Keeps happening on 0.11 build 2

Comment by Katten [ 01/Apr/15 ]

Confirmed for 0.10.4 on iPhone 6 plus (iOS 8.2). This issue only seems to affect lava generated below a certain y-axis. An update can be triggered when coming into contact with flowing lava.

Comment by rplatham [ 01/Apr/15 ]

Does not appear to affect naturally generated lava that is only one block deep.

Also occurs on Moto G 1st Gen. w/ Android 4.4.

Confirmed in 0.10.5
