Confirmation Status: Unconfirmed
Platform: Tablet - iOS - iPad Mini

 Description

So when they introduced the split touch feature, I was really happy because I have small hands and it works just like PC minecraft should. There are a lot of things I'm not happy with it tho. And I'm surprised that none of you developers or people playing this game found this or bothered to test it.

When you use split touch, your range is decreased dramatically. On normal controls, people can place, break, attack, and interact with blocks 2 more blocks farther away then split touch. Which was really annoying since I play with split touch all the time and it feels like I have to walk right in front of the item to reach it rather than doing it far away. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED

My suggestion to this bug is to either decrease the range or increase the range of both of the controls and make them even. No excuses

ANOTHER bug that nobody bothered to fix or report was the hot bar bug. When you play on split touch, your hotbar decreases to 5 blocks (iPad mini) rather than the usual 6. Which made it annoyingly annoying..... I mean... WTF MAN? I've seen this on android devices too, it happens on every phone I've used or devices i played on.

My suggestion to the split touch hotbar bug is to just fix it.... The D pad size option in the menu is basically a UI size, since it decreases the buttons on the top right of the screen also. My suggestion is that whenever you shrink the D- pad (the UI) the hotbar will also shrink and get more slots with it. Because you change the d pad size for obvious reasons... It makes more sense to have it shrink the hotbar also and to give it more slots. Because on the iPad the hotbar is fairly large and could use some shrinking.

Steps to reproduce:
(Range bug)
1. Turn on split touch
2. Try placing a block 5 blocks away from you
3. Don't... You can't...

Steps to reproduce:
(Hotbar bug)
1. Turn on split touch
2. Change the d pad size by a small amount to "refresh" the Dpad, basically when u change the Dpad it looks at if split touch is enabled or not, if it's enabled it will shrink the hotbar. If split touch is off while you change the Dpad it will grow back to 6 slots again.
3. Get annoyed

I am very disappointed in this tiny bug. I hope this gets fixed in the upcomming 0.8.1 update or else I will keep reporting this bug until it's taken care of. I didn't pay 7 dollars for a bug that never gets fixed
