 Description

Nothing real big, but sugar cane spawned in a new world will overlap leaves if a tree spawned right next to it.

I looked around for structures in the seed "sugar" but only came across two instances of note. The images are labeled sugar 1 & sugar 2.

This bug was never resolved or has been reintroduced. As of 1.17.2, this still occurs.

I tested in the seed "Tomcc", as suggested in another comment, and created the world multiple times, travelling to the exact same spot as shown in the screenshot with the sugarcane generating through the desert village well. (You can teleport to this location with this command: "/tp 411 63 -365".) All the other sugarcane would generate in the exact same spots, which I guess means that sugarcane generation is determined specifically by the seed? However, the sugarcane that used to generate through the desert well never generates there anymore, so I think that is good enough reason to believe that this bug was fixed at some point between 0.14.3 and 1.0.2. Resolving as fixed.

Please reply with a seed and coordinates of this occurrence if it still affects the latest version.

Confirmed to affect the latest release. World was generated in 0.14.0, seed "Tomcc". Location relative to the spawn is shown on an item frame map.

Cleaning up all the old issues - please reply if this affects 0.9.3.

Comment by Tails [ 10/Apr/13 ]

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

I have also seen this. Here is an image.
Go to the seed Nyan and you will find it

I also deleted it I think.

It was on a random world, and broke the sugar cane because it's quite rare, i'll find a pic as soon as I can.

Can you post a screenshot/seed/savegame?
