So I was playing in Creative making a castle on a flat map I have downloaded it was about three layers from bedrock. So I wanted to show my friend my castle and stuff but when we got on my map there were ghost walls all around and they would slowly go away then we get disconnected. So yea it go a lil Anyoing with him trying and there be ghost walls on my map the was a super flat one |

This special case is not a bug. The game writes additional data to keep track of what's changed to save network traffic. This super-flat map most likely missed this modification data and "only" had the terrain bytes set. |

He saw the walls. They looked like the map did before it wa made into a flatmap he could see all the ores and stone in the walls |

Did he see any of these walls or was there just collisions? |
