 Description

I close all my gates, doors, and trapdoors in my map. After I quit and load the game again, some of them are open again (not all).

Steps to reproduce:

  • Open a world
  • Close a door
  • save and exit
  • open that world again
  • door is open again

Steps to avoid the problem:

  • Close/open a door
  • place or destroy any block
  • save and exit
  • door saves status

I can reproduce as well - Android 4.0, Toshiba Thrive, MCPE 0.6.1 without any mods patched from Google Play.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Open a world
  • Close a door
  • save and exit
  • open that world again
  • door is open again

Steps to avoid the problem:

  • Close/open a door
  • place or destroy any block
  • save and exit
  • door saves status

Not fixed.

Add that this affects 0.6.0, and 0.6.1. When I tried to duplicate the issue, it would always save the doors status as when a visiting player disconnected from the game. After, when I restarted, the doors reverted to the way they were when the last player disconnected, however long ago.

When exiting and re-entering a world, all doors are reverted to either how they are placed, or how they were before the 0.50 update.

I agree with Troy, door etc status does not seem to get saved when the game is paused and then exited. When the game restarts the most recently closed doors are often open. At first I thought this was a feature to make the game more interesting but now I beieve it is a bug involved with saving the status of the door during pause or save operations.
