 Description

The GUI on the Galaxy S4 is way too small.
It was the same for 0.6.1 too.
It's ok on other phones, but I think the 1920x1080p resolution affects the GUI size.
It's probably the same on other FHD phones like HTC One and Sony Xperia Z though I haven't tested it.

Still got this in 0.12, and I'm still getting this in the latest 0.13 build. The hotbar, crafting, inventory, and smelting are all really small on my Nexus 7 2013.

Cleaning up old issues. If this bug still occurs in latest version, please leave a comment so we can reopen.

I wish I had this problem. The GUI size on my iPad mini is ludicrous—it is bigger than that of my phone's GUI size.

When a GUI slider exists...that will be the day.

Confirmed, (Motorola Electrify M)

There was community consensus in the official G+ beta testing group that this bug was a problem throughout beta testing of 0.11.

I can also confirm that this affects the Nexus 7 (2013) on version 0.11. The hotbar is annoyingly small, inventory screens, crafting, smelting. Pretty much everything except the main menu, world select, create a world, and the options screen is too small.

I can confirm on the Asus Nexus 7 (2013). The GUI is so small, I can barely do anything.

rplatham, i can confirm that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4'' has a small GUI too.

Jeb, I'm reopening this issue in an attempt to consolidate all the bug reports related to various versions and various Android & iOS devices having D-pad controls that are too small despite the settings in the options allowing the player to resize the D-pad.

I'll comment further below when I compile a list of the currently affected devices.

Cleaning up old issues, please reply if affecting 0.9.3

The MCPE-3533 its a duplicate of this because both reports are talking the same problem, no matter which devices are affected, just comment on the original report(this one) like "Confirmed on X device in Android x.x or iOS x.x"

My glitch report was not a duplicate of this one, the one I wrote was specifically for the Nexus 10 where the UI is extremely small. Whatever, I am sure that their problem is that they are using pixels instead of dpi for their measurements. MCPE can't handle above 720p. The resolution of the GS4 is 1920x1080, the HTC One is 1920x1080, and the Nexus 10 is a whopping 2560x1600. Just fix the problem instead of deleting duplicate glitch reports.

I can confirm this also for the HTC One, it has a very small GUI and getting rid of the need for a menu button would be nice, takes up screen space
