 Description

[Edit]: As of 0.14.3, this bug only affects Windows 10 which is using the PC crafting system.

I wanted to make cake so I got all the ingredients, only to find after I crafted it that it took my buckets that were full of milk.
What I expected to happen was it would just empty my buckets.
What actually happened was it took my buckets instead of emptying them.

Steps to Reproduce
1. Get cake ingredients.
2. Craft the cake.
3. Open inventory to find that they disappeared bucket and all.

This is still happening

I received 1 bucket of milk, no cake, two buckets missing when trying to craft a cake.

When crafting bread, it consumes all my wheat but returns no bread.

In bedrock 1.13 the bug gives me back the milk in my hand and not the bucket. And also no cake is crafted

Ahhh ok, thank you for the clarification Adrian Looking forward to the new release when it comes!

This was fixed in a future release, which means that it's currently not fixed, but that it will be fixed in a future version.

Comment by Kiwi [ 09/Sep/16 ]

Why was this marked as fixed? I just checked in both Survival and Creative and the bug still exists..

The cake recipe now produces 1 cake and 3 buckets

0.7.1 Each bucket "state" is a different object. When using a bucket the prior state is destroyed after the new state is placed in the inventory. If the inventory is full then the placing of the new state will fail but the former state is still destroyed as part of the use object routine.

What should happen is that the former state is destroyed first before the new state is inserted into the inventory. Unfortunately as buckets also currently stack this could again lead to a problem of a full inventory and the inability to insert the new state. That or the entire stack be destroyed to be replaced by a new stack of the new bucket state.

Same.
