 Description

My friends can't join my LAN game on the same wifi network. I can join theirs but they can't join mine. They have joined in the past, but no longer can. I know know if it matters but this world they can't join was copied on to a realm (not copied from one) and is 41.7 MB large. PLEASE FIX THIS BUG UP I PUT A LOT OF WORK INTO THAT WORLD. Also my multiplayer was on.

Can you try and send them an invite to join you?

If that doesn't work either, try clearing the App Data and Cache.

Be sure to back up any data you want to save, such as your worlds, beforehand.

  1. Open the device settings (Home>Settings>Storage>Apps)
  2. Choose Minecraft - Pocket Edition
  3. Tap 'Clear Data' and 'Clear Cache'
  4. Exit to the home screen and start the Minecraft app
  5. You will be prompted to log in again, and to choose your preferred storage location
  6. Reinstate your saved worlds from backup if necessary.

This should work for Android devices, your device may differ slightly.

And are your friends running the same version as you?

The first step is to check if the world is open to LAN.

Go to Play -> World Settings -> Multiplayer

Are the two options "Multiplayer Game" and "Visible to LAN players" on? If yes then the world is open to LAN
