 Description

I love playing Minecraft on my iPad! When I was playing for about an hour and a half, I stopped like I usually would. The I came back to play after a half hour or so. When I went back all of my progress I made from that hour and half was lost making me very upset! This also happened when I was only playing for like five minutes a few weeks ago, but decided that it was not a big deal!

Thank you for your report!

Crashes such as these are now logged automatically, so will be investigated further by the development team internally.

Yes I got the same issue, though it only happens randomly and rarely so don't know how to reproduce it.
Sometimes when you exit the world, it returns to the main menu as if nothing wrong had happened but actually not. Next time you open the world there is a small chance that you find the world has rolled back and your progress in the previous game play has not been saved.
This is similar to MCPE-20715 but not exactly the same because, in this case the game doesn't crash.

I'm getting very frustrated with this issue too. Minecraft is crashing very frequently. Mostly it saves my progress to within 30s of the crash but sometimes I lose a good half hour or more of progress!

I had a theory that it only happened while playing offline, but I've been playing online today and it's still happening.
