Confirmation Status: Unconfirmed
Platform: Windows

 Description

Player noises are broken.

When I walk forward there is no noise.
When I walk sideways it makes noise that glitches.
When I jump any sound made by the player will cut out.
The music works.
The mob sounds works.
When I mine with a pickaxe or a tool on a block the tool sound will only make a sound on half of the headset and nowhere else.

This is annoying and would like help ASAP.

My headset is Logitech g35 7.1 surround.

FIX [uninstall device in device manager and install these drivers http://www.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/gaming/LGS_8.58.183_x64_Logitech.exe]

This is not resolved. It still happens. Although this is a duplicate issue of. MCPE-16588
I have same issue. Logitech G430 headset. Game doesn't recognise the headset plugged into USB through logitech drivers so I cant hear sounds. Just some of the sounds are heard and they are really soft and sound like coming from the back of my head.

In the windows 10 edition the sounds worked fine because I could change the sounds device option. But this got removed for BTU. All you need do is put it back in to Windows 10 versions.

(workaround is to remove the USB connector and plug device into normal sockets, but then I miss out on the Surround sound, Does this mean BTU doesn't support surround sound?)

Is this fixed by updating the Logitech drivers?

Is this fixed for any of you guys?

Same here. I will refuse playing the Windows 10 Edition until this is fixed. I can't play that way. It's extremely annoying. (I'm using the Logitech G430 Gaming Headset)

The exact same thing happens to me! I think it has something to do with the front channel not receiving any sound.
