Confirmation Status: Unconfirmed
Platform: Tablet - Android - Nvidia Shield Tablet

 Description

When I try to choose a custom skin, I pick the skin file, and instead it shows an all black player model. If I try to press "Confirm" using the all black skin, I am instead sent back to the main menu without a custom skin.

To Recreate:

Press the button to open the skin select menu on the main menu screen. Select the Custom Player spot, and press "Choose Custom Skin". Once you select a skin, instead of the skin you selected, you will be met with a black player model.

I also get the exact same issue, although my skin should work fine as I use the exact same file on the Windows 10 edition of Minecraft with no issues.

I'll try to find a way to send skin, as I'm on mobile, but for now here are some things I'd like to note:
My skin has no transparent parts.
Pressing confirm doesn't show a black skin as my new skin, it just shows Steve.
I hope that helps!

These issue are usually as a result of an invalid skin, that perhaps has too many transparent parts. Can you upload a copy of it here for us to look at?
