Xbox Live sign in doesn't work. When you try to sign in it flashes a message too quickly to read and then when you go back to the main menu, the sign in button is there (previously it said "signing into Xbox live...") but when you click the sign in button it flashes a message too quickly to read and moves back over to the play button. Now it won't load any of my worlds, or allow me to create a new world, without an Xbox Live sign in (there's a new window that pops up and says it's going to sign in to Xbox Live but it doesn't ever actually sign in) so I cannot play at all on the Apple TV right now. |

Effective Monday September 24th, the Apple TV version of Minecraft will no longer be updated or supported. We’re grateful to the Apple TV community for their support but we need to reallocate resources to the platforms that our players use the most. Don’t worry though, you can continue to play Minecraft on Apple TV, keep building in your world and your Marketplace purchases (including Minecoins) will continue to be available. However, we know that this experience isn’t in-line with the experience on other platforms so we will be issuing full refunds on all purchases made within the last 90 days. For more information or to check on the status of your refund, please contact Apple Customer Service at https://getsupport.apple.com or 1-800-692-7753. |

I have the same issue... Its possible Minecraft for Apple TV is dead... No updates for almost a year... For anyone who comes across this and also is hopeless about getting a response since this has been happening for months now. You can RETURN your purchase if you contact Apple Support and request a refund, they also ask for a reason. |

I've had the same issue for a couple of weeks now. I changed the password of the xbox live account that we use when playing Minecraft on the Apple TV, and since then we can not longer play Minecraft at all. The issue is the same as described in the ticket - there is a text saying "Logging in to xbox live..." but nothing happens. If I click the "Login" button, a message window flashes by to quick to read what is says. At this moment we would be happy just to be able to play at all without login in with the xbox live account, but the game is completely unplayable. It's strange that this ticket doesn't seem to get any traction among Mojang developers. |

I have tried to load a world this evening with the only result being that a signing in to Xbox live screen pop up and doesn't disappear making loading worlds (or creating new ones) impossible. Minecraft has been unplayable on the Apple TV for months. It really is starting to feel that now that Mojang have my money they really don't care about me actually playing the game that I paid for, especially as if I want to continue playing on my iPhone or iPad I have to pay AGAIN for the privilege. |

I got a 4K Apple TV a few days ago and was able to link my account and sign in fine. Maybe it's only an issue with certain Apple TV models or tvOS versions? Happy to answer any questions people have about my setup. |

This is a really old issue and honestly it's really upsetting that it hasn't had any attention. I literally bought a new AppleTV and Nimbus Controller for no other reason than to play Minecraft with my daughter. If I just take the cost of the controller, Minecraft for AppleTV — I've basically wasted a lot of money of money. The iOS version keeps getting updates but what Sean Harris has identified seems like a legitimate possibility for fixing this. It would just be nice to know if the AppleTV version is dead or what. As stated above, I have tried multiple things to fix this from deleting iCloud data, uninstalling, re-installing, updating the OS multiple times and nothing has had any effect yet. |

I'm in the exact same situation as Guy Davies. In addition to Safari and FF on iOS I've tried Chome on iOS, Chrome on a Mac and PC along with IE11 on a PC. Cleared cookies and cache on them all. All I can get is the I'm also not able to join LAN games on iOS with the Apple TV version and vice versa which is why I got the TV version of the app. Very disappointed please fix the issue |

Just purchased AppleTV Minecraft with Nimbus Controller from Apple Store. First time launching game am asked to sign in to xbox live. Given web address to go to and code to link game to my account. Opened the link on both iPhone and Mac in both Safari and Firefox, am able to enter the code shown but am then redirected to an error page stating; "We're unable to complete your request Microsoft account is experiencing technical problems. Please try again later." Have been through to Microsoft account support and Xbox support teams both of which could offer no help. My AppleTV is fully up to date, have restarted the device and no change. The game version is 1.1.5 and has been freshly installed. Have tested the login functionality on my iPad running version 1.2 of the game and it works fine there. This must be a bug in AppleTV version with Xbox Live login API? |

Apple TV 4th generation model A1625, tvOS 11.0 same issue. Have deleted all iCloud data for the app and deleted the app, rebooted Apple TV and reinstalled the app, XBOX Live signin is still broken and just flashes a message about connecting to XBL. Never able to actually sign in. edit: Issue seems specific to Apple TV Edition, I am able to sign into Pocket Edition on my iPhone running iOS 11.0.1 with no issues. |

Updated the AppleTV to the latest OS (I think it 11 on AppleTV as well). We have updated in Minecraft to 1.2 but AppleTV is still on 1.15. I deleted the app from AppleTV and then used my iPhone to delete the Minecraft AppleTV data in iCloud and when I reinstalled Minecraft, it no longer had my Xbox Line gamertag stored. However, trying to sign in again still goes into the never-ending ellipses animating and never signs in. Again, we cannot access purchases. It's also frustrating because the version hasn't caught up either. |

This is very much an issue for me, too. It seemed to happen for me when I changed the password on my Xbox live account. Since then it hangs and none of the content not purchased before using my Xbox account is available on AppleTV. Is not an issue on iPad nor iPhone. |

Still an issue as of 1.1.5 |

If anyone cares, there's this issue: [com.apple.mDNSResponder.AllINFO] AppnedNewSearchDomain: No more search domains for question with name Error.ca.comcast.net. (Addr), not trying anymore The application is incorrectly trying to resolve the domain name "Error". (mDNSResponder appends the ".ca.comcast.net" domain in its attempt to resolve) |
