 Description

Lately in the last few updates, I have been trying to breed my horses. I have been preparing for a horse race in my world that is coming up. I have been trying to breed my two fastest horses, but sadly I couldn't breed any of my horses.

Janet build one if these (below). It's not accurate m/s because there is a 0.1s delay with the repeater but it's simple and cheap.

13 "m/s" is my slowness cut off... it doesn't matter if they can jump 5+ blocks.

Silly me. I have been using regular old carrots. Also, thanks for the advice Matt Smith.

Breeding horses works for me in ios with 1.0.8

Your horses are tamed? You're using golden carrots?

Fair warning: breeding horses usually produces offspring that are more towards average. They take the stats of the parents and average them with a random. For example, if your parents both have 14 hearts then the child won't have 15 hearts even if the random component is 15.

(I breed my fastest hose with the one that jumps the highest. If they can't jump 4 blocks or are slow then I turn them to leather. )
