I'm not sure if this is a bug, but my friend and I tried to connect to worlds on the pocket edition, but I don't show up on the local worlds list on his phone, and he doesn't show up on mine. We both are on the same wi-fi, and we both have our multiplayer setting on, but we can't connect. What do I do? I have an I pad mini on IOS 10 and my friend has a Iphone 7 on IOS 10 |

Is this problem still occurring? |

What about click invite friend once you are in your world? Or have xbox settings on so you can see your xbox friends while online? I have the opposite issue. I turn my LAN off and people can still join. |

This issue also affects versions 1.1 though 1.1.3.1 on android 5.0, 7.0 and IOS ( fully updated ) all on the the same WIFI LAN. The only way to play togher is to manually add the ip of the "server" to each device in the friends list. |
