 Description

Looks like LAN and XBOX Live multiplayer modes are interfering with each other. When both switches are on, sometimes the game displays as an XBOX game, and sometimes as a LAN game. It is impossible to connect to XBOX - "Unable to connect to world". When only the LAN switch is on, everything works perfectly. When only XBOX switch is on, I still can't connect to the XBOX game.

First thing I always check is if both clients got updated. However, you're right - most of the time connection issues happen right after an update rolls out - even if both PCs got updated, and even rebooted after that.

I can imagine that the server somehow still thinks that one of the clients still has an older version, even if that's not the case anymore. It seems to go away after some time (again, I suspect after the server gets updated information on the client version).

Be sure that both players have the same version of minecraft.Sometimes that is an issue for me when I can not connect.
