 Description

What is happening now (Last updated in 1.2.8)
Mobs don't always face the right direction. See new photo attached of the Wither.

Steps to reproduce

  • Make hollow 5x5 square on the ground.
  • Place cobwebs inside the square excluding the center.
  • Spawn a villager or any other kind of mob in the center.
  • Go behind the mob when they get stuck.
  • When the mob turns around there head will be facing you and there body will be facing away from you.

This bug has been reported to our internal bug tracker for further testing and a fix. It is scheduled to be fixed in one of the future updates (no specific date can be provided).

Marking as affected for just this one reason: I was able to get a mob to turn his head, but his body did not turn around. I could not reproduce the problem more than once though.

Yes, this problem is also happening to me.
