 Description

Minecraft 1.0.3 for iOS crashes immediately upon entering any world, both local and MCPE realm.

This happens on multiple iPhones. It happens on my iPhone 6s Plus (which isn't listed in the device dropdown, neither are the iPhone 7 models) and it happens on my wife iPhone 6s and my daughter's iPhone 5s.

Basically right now, we can't play the game at all. I think I managed to stay in a world for a five count, but that's the longest it's worked since the update to 1.0.3.

Thank you.

It happens on my iPhone 6s and Padpro too. It was fine at the beginning (3/5/17) when I updated it. After that ,It's been three days when this situation happened. Even though I reinstalled it , the game still keep crashing.

Resolving per comments above. It should be noted that these crashes are also logged automatically.

PS. It's also interesting that this happened on multiple iPhones in my family at the same time. Seems like a 1.0.3 update issue?

Thank you.

Update: I backed up my worlds from my iPhone using iExplorer, then deleted MCPE. I reinstalled MCPE, logged into Xbox, and MCPE crashed. I opened it again, and then it started working on all local worlds and our realm.

I then restored my worlds from my computer onto the iPhone using iexplorer and it is still working. I can log into any world and MCPE doesn't crash.

Seems like some file corruption thing on a file other than my world files.

Please mark this resolved, however it might be useful information if other people are having this issue.

Thank you.
