 Description

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Find a naturally-spawned zombie villager or use /summon to spawn one.
  2. Cure it.
  3. After it turns into a villager, try to trade with it. You can't due to this bug.

Note that villagers who were able to be traded with, and then converted to a zombie villager and then cured, are NOT affected by this bug.

This bug has been fixed in 1.0.4.1, but old zombie villagers from before 1.0.4.1 that weren't originally villagers are and will continue to still be broken. The fix in 1.0.4.1 cannot be applied retroactively to these zombie villagers, unfortunately. Here is a full scenario list:

Scenario list for villager behavior in 1.0.4.1:

Affected by MCPE-20022 (can't trade) & being unable to harvest crops even if brown-robe:
All zombie villagers from 1.0.3 & 1.0.4.0 that weren't originally villagers that are cured in any version.

Affected only by MCPE-20012 (harvests crops even when it shouldn't):
A villager that naturally spawned in 1.0.4.0.

Acts as intended:
All villagers & zombie villagers that spawned naturally or unnaturally in 1.0.4.1.
Any villager that spawned in 1.0.3.
A villager that unnaturally spawned in 1.0.4.0.
A villager that naturally spawned in 1.0.3 that was converted to a zombie villager and then cured in 1.0.4.0.
A villager that unnaturally spawned in 1.0.3 or 1.0.4.0 that was converted to a zombie villager and then cured in 1.0.4.0.

Cured zombie villagers now trade in 1.0.4.1

Fixed as of 1.0.4.1.

I don't know if this works with zombie villagers from 1.0.3 and before though.

Updated title & description. It would appear that all zombie villagers that were not originally villagers can't be traded with.

Ok to test i made a flat world with a zombie spawner. I would capture and filter the zombie villagers. Once cured no trading. This is in 1.0.4

1.0.4 spawned, cured in 1.0.4. I have a captured zombie spawner that i used to harvest zombie villagers and cure them.

mector Did the zombie villagers spawn in 1.0.3 or 1.0.4.0? And which version were they cured in?

My zombie villagers where natually spawned. Then healed. No trading with the new villager.

Confirmed to affect 1.0.4.0. This bug only occurs in certain cases. So far I've tested these scenarios...

A zombie villager from /summon in 1.0.3 that is converted to a villager in 1.0.3 CANNOT be traded with.
A zombie villager from /summon in 1.0.3 that is converted to a villager in 1.0.4.0 CANNOT be traded with.
A zombie villager from /summon in 1.0.4.0 that is converted to a villager in 1.0.4.0 CANNOT be traded with.

A villager from natural spawning in 1.0.3 CAN be traded with.
A villager from natural spawning in 1.0.4.0 CAN be traded with.
A villager from /summon in 1.0.4.0 CAN be traded with.
A villager from a spawn egg in 1.0.4.0 CAN be traded with.
A villager from a spawn egg in 1.0.4.0 that is converted to a zombie villager and then converted back CAN be traded with.

I have also encountered this bug. Spawned villagers with egg trade. Healed zombie villagers do not trade. They produce no trade button.
