If I may, I have a lot more to add on to this. I recently encountered this, and as everyone else seems to have (unless it's only me), just shrugged it off as kinda funny. But then I began looking more into it and I find it a bit worse than just this. As mentioned, the worlds will lose their names and the dates will be set to 12/31/1969, but alongside that, they seem to all have their default game mode set to survival, the seed is set to 0 and even one of my worlds (the Aquatic Quest map) was corrupted. The rest of the worlds I checked out were alright in most cases, but they do get slightly broken after syncing the worlds, I was checking them out the other night and noticed that one of my super flats created literally the night before had already become a victim of the bug and any chunk that hadn't been loaded I'm previously became a normal, non-super flat world. This doesn't seem too bad of a problem, but it's happened to almost all of my worlds and I really don't want it to happen to my main survival world at this current moment. I'm going to try to add some screenshots I took of my worlds that were affected (I'm new so I really don't know what I'm doing) to show what's happened to them. If this is possible to fix, please do.

It looks as though the level.dat may have been corrupted somehow.
