In previous versions of MCPE, redstone torches were able to create quasi-connectivity in pretty much any direction. Now, they can only do it up. I thought it would be a bit difficult to explain, so here's a video. There's a link in the video description to a redstone tutorial showcasing how they used to work. |

Any chance this could be brought back as an actual feature? It was extremely useful, especially on multiplayer servers. |
