Luis I recently had that problem too, I save and quit a world and then suddenly my game crashed and when I went into minecraft the world is gone and my skin and name are reset to default. My version is 1.2.6 |

Could you confirm is this issue still affects 1.1.0.9? |

It doesn't matter if you close it on the home screen. It matters what screen INSIDE MCPE you are on when you close it. If you see one of those 5 screens when you see the app when sliding it out, that's what you need to worry about. It's hard to explain with text, so this is the best I can to explain it. |

That is very preventable. It only happens if you close the app in these places 1. On the Mojang Screen As long as you don't close the app when on either of those screens, your stuff won't be reset and you won't have to worry. It has to do with saves corrupting when you close them while it's working. (Hence why most games say please dont turn off the power when saving or when a little saving logo/icon pops up) |
