 Description

When a slime block pushes a pumpkin or melon not all dropped items are thrown forward as in java edition. Some of the items fall to the side or stay on top of the slime block, sometimes in java edition this also happens but it is rare.

This is very poor it worked brilliantly before now I have to destroy all my slime block farms and start again I've made industrial sized farm they took a lot of time planning and building why does it still work in the Java edition as I have seen watching YouTube videos and why remove a mechanic that worked so well

Sad to know that. This worked well before and I built a few things that uses that mechanism.

This works as intended in MCPE.

The same applies to any blocks that can be broken by pistons and turn into item entities, including sugar canes, redstone dust, repeaters, and many more. In the current implementation, when a block is pushed by a piston, the spawned item entity jumps to a random direction as if it were a player that broke it.
