I have had Minecraft on our Sony Tablet S (Not in the list above for devices, so I just select a Sony Tablet) for roughly 4 years and it has run fine for the last 4 years, with all the updates. Whenever I click on a Minecraft icon to open it up, the screen flashes black, and then fails to open and returns to the desktop. It will not open from anywhere. I've removed and reinstalled MCPE, with no improvement. I reset the tablet to factory specifications, and reloaded MCPE, and it has the same problem. It will not start. I reloaded it again, and told it not to recover any saved data from Google Backup, and it still did not work. My son is very disappointed he has not been able to play this software. There is nothing that says that this tablet/Android version is no longer supported. I have come across another bug saying that they had problems with their Sony tablet, but it did not have a resolution, and I wasn't able to find it again. |

Sorry can you elaborate? What is logging the crashes? And how is it sending the information to you? What if it is crashing before it starts this logging? Is there a specific version of Android you have to be at, or something you need to enable? The problem is still not fixed. Should I repeated cause it to crash over and over and over and over and over for several hours, to make sure that it reports that it's crashing? I am not the only one with this issue, and it's been 4-5 months since it started. |

Thank you for your report! Crashes such as these are now logged automatically, so will be investigated further by the development team internally. Quick Links: |
