If you try to fish a chicken or a bat, they'll start to 'fly away' (make hurt sounds repeatedly while the bobber is attached, causing them to take an increase of altitude until you let go). |

That's the best thing I ever saw! The chicken flew away from me and eventually broke the "lead". Tested and confirmed with mcpe 0.16.2 in wm10 on a Nokia 950. Clearly this is working as intended. ; D So im not voting it up... This needs to stay. Edit: Blazes, bats and ghasts can also be "fished" to produce a similar effect. Non flying mobs can also be fished but appear to be unaffected aside from being "tied" to the rod. The wither can also be fished but responds like a non flying mob. These where all tested with the aforementioned setup. |
