 Description

Update by Mega_Spud:
Steps to Reproduce (example):

  • Use the command /effect @p strength 400 40
  • Spawn a Ghast
  • Hit Ghast, notice the hurt and death sound play together

In the Java version, just the death sound is played, not the hurt sound as well.

Original Description:
When killing any mob, their 'hurt' sound plays along with their 'death' sound, as opposed to ONLY playing the 'death' sound.

Also (at least in Windows 10 edition), mobs will continue to "take damage" when dying until the corpse disappears.

To reproduce:

  • Kill a mob and continue attacking its "corpse" as it's dying
  • Spawn a mob in lava, fire or cactus block
In both cases the mob should continue producing hurt sounds after it dies.
