When we summon the ender dragon in the normal world it flies high and for a direction only and does not return AMAN4700 Edit: It flies to the center of the world, usually X: 0 and Z: 0 |

This is works as intended. The Ender Dragon, when summoned, acts as if it was in The End, travelling towards X:0,Z:0, which is where the exit portal is in The End. When an Ender Dragon with AI is summoned in the Java edition, it does the same thing. (Since 1.9.) |
