I am not the first to report this (and also not the last one). Game can not start keeps crashing to home screen. Why releasing it without proper testing? It is really Microsoft company... |

Confirmed issue on my daughter's iPad mini (first gen). Also have heard similar reports with other older devices from xbox live users running iOS 9 (unable to upgrade to 10). Minecraft will launch, but attempting to open any world will crash. Creating new world will allow access for a short time before this too crashes. There are no resource packs installed on the device I tested with. |

The same thing happens on my iPhone 4S and it crashes on startup. I do not have any resource packs or mods. |

If its crashing to home screen at start then why not check if you have any old resource_packs, old packs are broken, backup your worlds first, if removing the packs doesn't work try deleting the whole game folder after backing up your world of course and re-install the game. |
