Current minimum render distances are too high for lower end devices. I believe it should be left at 2 chunks for everyone as it was before. I tried to change it by editing options.txt but the game restores it to a fixed minimum. My tablet is locked at minimum of 6 chunks, my phone is at 4. Both are overheating badly with those defaults (I live in a tropical country). Also, playing on the go becomes difficult as battery consumption increases with those values. |

I believe this should be marked as resolved. Version 1.0.4 has 4 chunks as default for all my devices. Both of my Androids and the Windows 10 Tablet are not overheating. I believe fps have also increased but i'm not sure of that one. |
