 Description

I had many weapons and armor pieces enchanted prior to update .16, but upon logging on, the items no longer produce enchanted effects though it shows the enchantment on the item.

Examples:
Bow running out of arrows despite having Infinity on it
Same with Flame (enemies not on fire)
Punch not punching enemies back
Pickaxes wearing down quickly despite having Unbreaking III on it

Using an anvil to add an enchanted book to a pickax had no effect on this issue. Combining two helmets dropped from skeletons had no effect. It is as if the enchantment is applying to the weapon/armor in name only, but not in effect.

Just an update;

-Smite enchantment doesn't work for Husks & Zombies (works for all other undead mobs though).

Same here, I had diamond pickaxe in version 0.15.10 with Efficiency V, and was able to destroy 2 blocks with one strike. But since version 0.16.0 that very same pickaxe is behaving like normal diamond pickaxe as if with no enchantment. And only destroys 1 block at a time.

I can confirm that this is an issue, although it seems to vary. For instance, my infinity will work with only one arrow, but the flame effect doesn't affect mobs as it should.

I can confirm as well. A bow with "Power V" enchantment takes the same amount of arrows to kill the same mob as a bow with no enchantments. The issue affects all bows, both enchanted before the update and (created&) enchanted after the update. I don't know which other enchantments do not work. Depth strider seems to function correctly, so it doesn't look like "all enchantments"
