[MCPE-1748] Ice blocks don't create water Created: 05/Feb/13  Updated: 25/Nov/15  Resolved: 11/Feb/13

 Description

I broke an ice block in my single player creative world, but rather than create a source of water, it broke like any normal block would and didn't produce any water. If you want to replicate this bug, find a world with at the least with a small ice field (I recommend the seed 'blank'). When you break the block, you will be left with the water or block that was underneath, but no source above it.

Maybe it only makes water in survival on pocket.

Since they did used to produce water, I think we should assume this change was intentional. It doesn't seem like the kind of thing that would change by accident. If I'm wrong, we can reopen.
