Pistons(all types) will redirect redstone just like detector rails, tripwire hooks, etc.

+wakafu mafuyuu this feature is good, but also bad. You will not know what are the difficulties if you are not a redstoner. Let me give you an example like a vertically down double piston extender. Usually, the bottom redstone powering the bottom piston are always redirected as we want it to instant retract. However, thanks to this update(and the update of no racing condition), you need to have a 1 tick delay and power the top piston instantly, when retraction, it needs a 4 tick delay, causing the whole double piston extender slowing down AT LEAST 1 tick(due to locational problems, sometimes you need 2 tick delay instead of 1 tick to retract the final block). Only this cause a big problem, how about even complicated piston doors?

affected version is 0.15.3 to latest. we already adapted to this change so i think you should too.

Yes but if this is kept as intended, a lot of redstone compoments will be broken forever. Please remove this feature as I am an advanced redstoner in MCPE. Thx.

That is an intended behavior of pistons in recent versions of MCPE.
