Villager Farmers will collect, plant and harvest Wheat and Beetroot, but they will not harvest Potatoes and Carrots when they're fully grown. What I expected to happen: What actually happened: Steps to Reproduce:

Upon closer inspection, it seems this issue works as intended, as a villager farmer will not harvest more crops when his inventory is already full of an item it classes as food. Apologies for the needless report. |

Thanks for the info. I tested a bit more, and it seems that throwing one carrot to a farmer will allow it to plant and harvest a crop. The problem does seem to lie in the inventory of the villager. |

Hey Mega_spud. Try just spawn a villager and not throw anything at him. This works for me. I think the real bug is that when a villager picks up an item your inventory fills completely . Example if you throw a stack of potatoes to a villager the 8 slots of your inventory will fill with 8 stacks of potatoes. (As you know the villagers do not harvest potatoes if he already has a lot of potatoes). |
