Redstone can be placed on blocks which is not consistent with previous behaviour or other platforms. In the 0.15.90.2 Beta it can be placed upon Glass. Also, it can transfer a powered redstone signal downwards. |

Affects 0.15.90.8 (0.16.0 beta build 5). I also discovered that all rail types can also be placed in glass, as well as all pressure plates, all buttons, tripwire hooks, and levers. Torches & redstone torches can also be placed on the side of glass blocks. (Previously in 0.15.x and in the Java edition they could only be placed on the top.) |

- EDIT: Actually, you know what, I don't think these issues should be merged. They're not as related as I thought at first, and should probably be dealt with separately. Nevermind. |

i mean a vote for it to be a feature that the devs might consider adding _ |

@wakafu mafuyuu: The vote button is a way of saying we think the bug needs attention, whether the response be WAI or needs-to-be-fixed. There is no WAI-vote button, because that decision belongs to the devs. |

You know what? This actually seems okay to me. I think this is one of those instances where perhaps the redstone rules should be changed. Why can't we place redstone on glass in the Java and Console Editions? I like the idea of a convenient way of sending a redstone signal vertically down using cheap, easy-to-obtain blocks that makes far more sense to me than |
