[MCPE-16758] App Sound stops working after OS triggers alarm Created: 30/Aug/16  Updated: 05/Sep/16  Resolved: 05/Sep/16

Status: Resolved
Project: Minecraft (Bedrock codebase)
Component/s: None
Affects Version/s: 0.15.6
Fix Version/s: None

Type: Bug

Confirmation Status: Unconfirmed
Platform: Phone - iOS - iPhone 5

 Description

The app loses all sound when iOS Clock app interrupts gameplay. Restarting app restores sound.

To duplicate:
1. Set up an alarm using clock app built into iOS.
2. Start MCPE and play until alarm triggers interrupt.
3. After clicking OK on alarm, the user will note that there is no sound at all in game. Switching focus to another app and returning does not restore sound. Only restarting MCPE will restore the sound.

This occurs in both creative mode and survival mode.

I can confirm that this issue is with iOS, not only with MCPE. Because it happens with all apps. I have tested some of them, and same result.
