 Description

When riding a horse under a block that is 2 blocks high, the screen will turn black and you can't see.

Steps to reproduce

  • Place blocks like the picture attached. 3 blocks plus one from the side.
  • Ride your horse into the side block and everything on your screen will turn black making it impossible to see.

The bug isn't that you can go through a block with a horse, it's the blackness and you can't see anything.

I see, thanks for making your title and description more clear

The suffocation overlay is incorrect for vehicles and mounts, including Horses, Pigs and minecarts. When these force your head inside a block, you can only see a black screen + the gui (as pictured).

Compare this to suffocating in a block that has been pushed over your head with a piston. In this case, the suffocation overlay is the inside of the block you are stuck in, as pictured in ticket MCPE-15969 (resolved as WAI).

Mega_Spud The bug here is the blackness, not that you can go through a block.

Going by other editions, this works as intended.

I think this works as intended, just like riding a cart through a 1 high gap will push your head into the block above.
