 Description

I'm using an LG Nexus 5x running Android 6.0.1. I just updated MCPE to 0.15.3 from 0.15.2, and now it won't open at all. I get a black screen then a message saying it had to close. I've restarted my phone, checked for phone updates, cleared the MCPE cache, and force stopped PE. I had a beta of Block Launcher, and it also crashed, so I uninstalled it. I tried MCPEMaster, too, and it crashed. I even tried force stopping both launchers and then starting just PE. Same thing. Any suggestions?

Ok I bit the bullet, backed up my worlds, uninstalled MCPE, reinstalled it, and loaded my worlds back in, and it worked! I guess something somewhere got corrupted. Thanks for the help!

I downloaded it from Google Play Store, so that's not a problem. I didn't have the Xbox Live app, so I downloaded it, logged in, checked PE (nope), logged out, and checked PE again (still nope). I then uninstalled all MC related apps, seeds, mods, and texture packs (still nope). I tried airplane mode several times in this process and restarted my phone after everything was uninstalled, and it still doesn't work. And I don't currently have an SD card, so that's not a problem, and I've only used 11.33 GB of 24.89 GB of internal storage, so that's not an issue either. Any other thoughts?

Try these (individually or in combination): remove any third party texture packs, log out of xbox live via the Xbox App, place your device in airplane mode, ensure you have not moved the game to external storage, uninstall all mods. Ensure you are using your device's native app store (for some reason, some people have been using the Amazon AppStore on devices where the Google PlayStore is the naitive app store.
