Due to the way item frames act in this edition (as a block rather than an entity) you cant place buttons torches levers etc. On the same block like in other versions. (Such as placing a torch on a block and an item frame with an anvil to look like a torch holder) this inhibits building for maps and such and should be fixed. (But not by making them an entity like paintings as the will sometimes pop off the wall if you go to far away) please see what can be done about this major flaw in item frames.
