 Description

Piston Slab Bug in Minecraft PE
This is a bug I found while trying to make a redstone contraption. When you have a slab, with the redstone dust, going into the piston, the piston doesn't extend. But when you have a normal block it extends. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to extend. Thanks.

Oh, now I see. The redstone powers the block, which powers the piston. The slab is transparent, just like glowstone. I wish it had quasi-connectivity. Then, we would be able to make the slime block flying machines that work on PC and Console.

Working as intended.
This design is functional on the Console Edition due to quasi-connectivity, which allows pistons to be powered by anything which would activate the block above them, and is a bug in itself.

Did you watch the video? This works fine on Console. I know that a slab is a transparent block. The redstone dust is on top of the slab.

This is Works As Intended.
Slabs are different from normal blocks as they are "transparent " and cannot be powered.
Blocks can be powered though.
Powered block is what powers the piston.
The Redstone dust cannot power the slab so the slab can't power the piston but the redstone dust can power the block to power the piston.
