 Description

When I throw a splash potion of harming I expect it to harm living mobs and that is about it. What happens is the mob is also knocked back even zombies but the undead mobs still don't take damage even though it looks like it. A splash potion of healing kills undead mobs as expected but doesn't cause knock back like the potion of harming.

I would expect that no knock back occur with a splash potion of harming or that knock back from the potion of harming/healing only knocks back the mob if it actually hurts it.

Knock back still happens in 0.15.4. Most likely a bug as when the potion is thrown and harms the mob the mob takes knock back in the direction away from the player not the potion. So throw a potion behind a mob and it gets knocked towards the potion. Maybe a result of knowing who did the attacking with potion now?

It appears that the knock back on mobs it doesn't hurt was fixed. But now healing potions knock back undead mobs and harming knocks back living mobs. So did the devs decide with option 2 then?

Confirmed for 0.14.3. Potions of Harming shouldn't inflict knockback on entities.
