 Description

One day, you are walking across the nether plains, then all of a sudden. BOOM! You hear a fire charge go off next to you. Quick! Pull out your bow & start shooting. The ghast fires again, and you hit it! The ghast is gone, and so is it's charge?

Short story shorter:
When a ghast has shot a Fire Charge, and then is killed, the Fire Charge is then erased from the entities list. (Also happens when game is turned to peaceful after the shot is fired)

This issue Works as Intended. If you have a feature request, head over to the Minecraft: Pocket Edition Forums.

I enjoyed reading the description, but unfortunately this does work as intended.

Works as Intended

"If a ghast is killed, any fireball launched by that ghast will disappear."
