Both the correct and stone sound will play because the sound plays when both jumping off of and landing on the block.

Reopened and changed myself to reporter to keep it updated

Still happening in 1.2.10 (Windows).

Now the correct sound will play, but the stone sound will play through the correct sound. So you get a mix of 2 sounds.

Please reopen, this is still an issue!

Can confirm this still occurs as of the latest beta build of Minecraft for Windows 10.

This issue is Invalid, as is refers to Realms Beta Testing, which has ended. Please comment below if this affects 0.14.3 as well.

Hmmmm. This may be due to the fact that there is no empty space in minecraft. When you break a block it becomes an air block. The glitch would be with the air block confusing the other block as to whether it's air or not and therefore make a cobblestone sound. I can't currently get on mcpe when i do i will test this.
