Platform: Windows

 Description

0.14.0 Windows 10 Edition.

I noticed that placing containers whilst flying only results in opening the containers' GUI, even when holding Shift and Space simultaneously.

What should happen:

Holding shift should allow placement of containers on top of another without opening the containers' GUI. When flying, usually you need to hold shift and space to do this.

What Actually Happens:
You need to be standing on a block in order to shift+place another container without opening GUI, which is awkward in a tall build.

In 0.15.0 b1 (android) you can now hold fly up + fly down to sneak whilst flying. Presumably this feature will be enabled when 0.15 hits Windows 10.

Ah ok, I had hoped from the comments at MCPE-12038 that this was implemented and perhaps would be fixed. Will wait to see if it gets added in the future.

Sorry, this isn't a bug. This feature is not yet implemented.

Thanks!

Yes it affects 0.14.0

It makes redstone builds in creative awkward, as you have to stand on a pillar in order to shift.

Does this bug still appear in 0.14.0? If so please respond.

@HyperCamel he means the inventory of a container should't be opened when you sneak-click a block.
This issue is there for ages already.

The second thing: You can't sneak and press space same time to stay sneaking mid air on windows 10.

Sorry my description is a bit vague (I'm tired lol). I'll edit it tomorrow.

On windows edition, shift is fly down (descend), so you should be able to hold shift and space when flying, in order to place blocks on containers, for example.

I think this issue might be a bit too specific. The thing is you can't even fly while shifting, so it's not specific to placing chests
